The men's Roughneck brings this iconic Red Wing style up to date with rich Black Oil Slick leather, an aggressive Vibram® lug outsole to grip any surface, and Puritan triple-stitch construction with a Goodyear leather welt for long-lasting, resoleable wear.
Inspired by the boots first made for mid-20th-century oil rig workers—known as “Roughnecks”—this boot lives up to its name. Rugged, aggressive, and built to last, the Roughneck stands up to heavy, all-season wear.

The natural by-product from the food industry, the leather is crafted with over a century of knowledge to make a premium, longstanding product that ages with grace.
Black Oil Slick
This oiled and waxed leather resists the elements and reveals natural marks with a soft, rich feel.
Red Wing Boots fit large - we recommend going a half or full size down from normal size.
